|Description:||The ideal candidate will provide Help Desk support to Marine Corps Intelligence Agency. Will support a Help Desk (24x7 manning) providing consolidated, comprehensive technical assistance for software maintenance support for MCIA. |
|Duties:||-Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: workstation/server hardware/software, network hardware, WAN/LAN outages, synchronization software & cradle hardware for wireless devices, peripheral devices, tape backup and storage systems, uninterruptible power systems (UPS), providing assistance with COTS and customized desktop applications, web applications, databases, user account administration issues, and technical/functional support for individual user problems.|
-The scope of this support includes: resolving the problem/providing support over the phone, visiting the user to solve the problem, or escalating the issue to the appropriate tier for resolution.
-This position will require a self-sufficient individual who is willing work with remote supervision.
|Qualifications:||MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:|
-High school education or equivalent and 3+ years technical training.
-MUST have MCDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician).
-Must have Security+ Certification.
-Knowledge of Windows 2007 Professional, Microsoft Office 2007 Professional and a general understanding of Microsoft networking.
-Experience providing customer support for client/server application software.
-Good written and verbal communication skills.
-MUST have current TS/SCI Clearance.
